Indicated for the treatment of infections listed below in adults and children, including neonates
- Community acquired pneumonia
- Acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis
- Soft tissue infections
- Intra- abdominal infections
- Prophylaxis against infection in gastrointestinal, orthopaedic, cardiovascular, and gynaecological surgery
Consideration should be given to official guidance on the appropriate use of antibacterial agents.
Side Effects
This includes but not limited to the following:
- Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea
- Vagile itching, or discharge
Severe
- Stomach Pain
- Diarrhoea
- Jaundice
- Fever, chills
- A seizure
